Blogging Pedagogy is a project of The University of Texas at Austin's Digital Writing & Research Lab (DWRL). The DWRL is affiliated with UT's Department of Rhetoric & Writing and is staffed by graduate students in rhetoric, literature, linguistics, and related fields. During their time in the lab, these staffers pursue various digital projects and teach undergraduate courses in both rhetoric and English. These courses include UT's first-year rhetoric and writing course (RHE 306), special-topics courses in rhetoric and writing (RHE 309K), Banned Books and Novel Ideas (E 314L), Writing in Digital Environments (RHE 312), and a variety of other rhetoric and literature courses.
Along the way, our staff contributes to Blogging Pedagogy, which serves as a place to theorize about teaching practices and digital classrooms, reflect on pedagogical successes and challenges, share descriptive accounts of lesson plans and day-to-day course activities, and so on.
